PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Pick and pack orders using a hand-held computer, pulling stock, packing totes/boxes, and/or placing orders on pallets
  • Maintains inventory by collecting stock from proper locations and filling customer order requests
  • Completes shipments by processing truck manifests
  • Maintains quality service by following organization standards
  • Maintains a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat, and maintaining a clean work area, complying with procedures, warehouse rules and regulations
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing departmental goals

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS, & LICENSES: 

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Rich and Rhine will train new employees to safely operate riding forklifts

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Able to perform physical labor that requires constant moving and frequent lifting, pushing and pulling of items up to 50 lbs throughout duration of shift
  • Must be able to stand/walk for 10-12 hours/shift
  • Able to place items in totes/boxes or on a pallet
  • Able to scan products and understand the hand-held scanner

  • Safety-conscious with demonstrated safe working habits
  • Reliable transportation to and from Rich and Rhine warehouse
  • Ability to lift, pull, push, stack, and carry items up to 50 lbs on a frequent basis
  • Comfortable working in an upbeat, fast-paced environment while maintaining safe work habits
  • Enjoys tasks that are repetitive in nature
  • Motivated to seek out, identify, and improve processes
  • Team-oriented and customer-focused
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
  • Other duties as assigned by manager
