• Close and grow sales through professional communication with existing clients
  • Prospect, identify, and close new clients/referrals within your assigned territory
  • Assist clients with transition to self-generating orders using an iOS application
  • Sell, market and merchandise new product lines and programs
  • Manage and interpret customer requirements – speaking with clients to understand, anticipate, and meet their needs
  • Effectively manage accounts receivable (A/R) for your accounts
  • Identify and resolve client concerns; recommending a course of action to alleviate these concerns in the future
  • Maintain records of customer communications and contact information as required
  • Attend and participate in trade shows, conferences, and/or other marketing events
  • Work in conjunction with merchandising team to perform full store resets in your own territory and others territories (as required)
  • Other duties as assigned by manager


  • Must have a reliable vehicle, current auto insurance and a valid driver’s license from the state of residence


  • 2+ year experience in wholesale/retail sales with a proven and successful track record (a focus on convenience/grocery industry strongly preferred)
  • Ability to prioritize tasks based on customer priority and profitability
  • Ability to effectively communicate and negotiate with diverse customer channels
  • Experience working in physically demanding fields
  • History of meeting/exceeding sales goals/quotas


  • Candidate must be a self-starter with excellent communication skills
  • Must have excellent attention to detail and follow-up skills
  • Ability to persuade and influence others effectively to grow existing/create new business
  • Able to build and maintain strong relationships
  • Able to conduct business while on the road using mobile technology
  • Efficient regarding time management and ability to work under pressure without direct supervision
  • Ability to repetitively lift, carry, and position objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Able to work collaboratively as part of a sales team
  • Able to follow company planograms to properly execute store resets
  • Professional in appearance and conduct
  • Language skills required: Fluent knowledge of the English language; including the ability to read and interpret written information and speak and understand verbal communication
  • Residency within territory boundaries strongly preferred
